Rome.

It was our holiday’s last stop. Aside from an almost accidental glance at the Colosseum, we didn’t have the energy to race around looking at ruins. We’ll save that for another trip; I’m sure we’ll visit again. We stayed in a beautiful airbnb flat and just stuck close to home, getting ready to return to real life.

  1. Probably the best way to remember Italy and other places you got to see on vacation is not as someplace separate from daily reality, but as a heightened part of your daily reality that you’ve done a lot to deserve–it is “real life,” in the sense that you’ve earned it, and will deserve more of it some day soon (at least those of us who’ve been enjoying your pics and comments think so)! shadowoperator
